Teksupport continues its mission of bringing top quality grade and techno to Brooklyn, this time pairing with Maceo Plex to showcase his groundbreaking  record label Ellum Audio on April 25. Joining the label boss at a secret warehouse location on April 25 is a strong cast of techno elite including New York pioneer Joey Beltram, ANNA, and rising talent Avision. The two entities already have a storied history together, having worked in tandem to debut Maceo’s Mosaic concept stateside and staging a Cercle stream together on the Hudson river.

Ellum began as a hub for Maceo’s own music nearly ten years ago, but has since grown into a renowned platform known for pushing futuristic, oftentimes dystopian sounds in house and techno. It’s nurtured the careers of many a dynamic performer including Shall Ocin, Gardens of God, and Dino Lenny, to name a few, while consistently bringing all-stars into its ranks like Danny Daze and DJ Tennis. The label also houses some of Maceo Plex’s most prized records to date, like 2014 hit “Solitary Daze” with Gabriel Ananda, and of course, “Solar Detroit” which remains widely rinsed today.

The imprint’s latest stateside excursion shines the light on New York’s hometown heroes. Headlining the event alongside Maceo is Joey Beltram, who’s been shaping the house and techno scene on a local and global scale since the early ‘90s. A few of his notable accomplishments include inspiring Daft Punk’s sound (as noted in their single, “Teachers”), birthing the ever-popular effect “Mentasm Riff,” and taking over festivals like Coachella, Movement, Awakenings, and Tomorrowland. Today his work can be found on labels like Tronic, Trax, and Natura Viva.

Where Joey Beltram represents New York’s Old Guard, Avision is one of the city’s most promising new talents. With Victor Calderone as his cousin, a career in dance music is built into his pedigree. The producer earned prominence early on his career through signings on Drumcode, Intec, and Suara, and soon, the Ellum family via his Innocence EP on February 14. Outside the studio, Avision has been heavily expanding his profile abroad through gigs at Pacha Ibiza, A Summer Story in Madrid, Amsterdam Dance Event, and multiple gigs around Canada. His Ellum performance follows up key a landmark billing at Time Warp for the festival’s third New York appearance.

ANNA also joins the lineup, bringing a taste of her melodic, yet driving aesthetic into the mix. Her rise has been nothing short of meteoric in recent years; after bubbling to the surface as a top tier DJ in her home country of Brazil and eventually making her way to Europe in 2008, she’s since become one of the most in-demand artists in the world. Her 2018 hit “Hidden Beauties” earned praise from Pitchfork and Mixmag alike, the latter having voted it as one of the Top Tracks of the year. The past year alone has seen her carrying on an expansive tour diary, including stops at behemoths like Ultra, Movement, and Tomorrowland.

Teksupport has become a name synonymous with the New York underground through its years, with the brand earning a dedicated following for its house and techno curation, high class production,  use of clandestine, industrialized spaces. The brand is responsible for debuting Time Warp stateside, and has also brought some of the most respected brands to the East Coast including Music On!, Circoloco, and Solomun +1. With artists like Maceo Plex, Jamie Jones, Carl Cox, and many more gracing Teksupport events, the company has set a new standard for New York nightlife.
